Three churches. One mission.
We are three churches serving God in the South Hills of Pittsburgh: in and around Allentown, Overbrook, and Carrick. We are United Methodist communities, and that means we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and changes everything. He calls us to be transformed and redeemed from the inside out, empowers us to transform the world around us, and gathers a loving, worshiping community around his Communion table. Every day, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to be perfected ever closer into the good creation God made us to be.
Our churches are small, but we know we work better together. And we know God is doing great and wonderful things right here in Pittsburgh.

We’d love to meet you.
We are always excited to welcome new people, and we hope to make you feel at home no matter which congregation you visit. We worship God on Sundays, and go out to love and serve the world in God’s name until we gather again.
Whether you’re a lifelong Methodist, spiritual-but-not-religious, or not even sure what you are, our doors are open to you. Come visit us at Fairhaven, Hill Top, or Spencer. As Jesus said to his very first disciples, “come and see!”

Our Pastoral Staff
Rev. Dylan Parson, Senior Pastor
Dylan is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. He grew up in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and has been serving the communities of the South Hills Partnership since July 2019, after graduating from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. Before returning to Pennsylvania, he served churches in diverse contexts across North Carolina, from Raleigh to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
He is drawn to the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition’s focus on both personal and social transformation, and is interested in theologies of liberation and the theology and history of the Appalachian region.
Dylan lives in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood with his wife, Stormie, and their two dogs, Beans and Pretzel.
Rev. Margaret Bowman, Associate Pastor
A ordained priest in the Anglican Church in North America, Peg has been serving the churches of the South Hills Partnership for many years, most recently as associate pastor, appointed in July 2021. A native of the Philadelphia area, she graduated from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Before receiving a call to pastoral ministry, Peg was an entrepreneur, as well as tax collector for Carnegie Borough. Passionate about music, she was also a longtime church organist.
Peg lives in Carnegie with her husband, Neil, and enjoys rescuing cats.
